Yes, tiny ones depending on the exchanges involved. Exchanges charge a micro-fee for trading between coins, so selling for eth will cost you that fee, usually ABOUT 0.2%. Then they also charge to withdraw to another wallet, which varies by currency and exchange. It tends to be a little more than the actual transaction fee for the currency.
Also check the exchange ur sending it to, if its a small amount it may stay on the blockchain until a minimum amount is reached. For example Bittrex min is 0.1 ETH so if u transfer it will confirm but not show up on the exchange until that minimum is met.
eg. You send 0.6 ETH, it will confirm but exchange balance will show as 0, but if you later send 0.5ETH then when that goes through it will drag the other amount with it and then show on the exchange as 0.11.
